Our Mission

To help Chinese-speaking people in New Zealand identify and avoid digital scams, reduce the financial and emotional harm caused by fraud, and build a more informed and safer digital community.

Our Vision

To become a trusted digital safety resource hub for the Chinese community in New Zealand — providing timely, accurate, and practical information in Chinese, and serving as a bridge between the community and mainstream safety resources.

We believe that language accessibility, factual content, and ongoing education are the foundations of a safer digital community.

Three-Year Development Direction

The following outlines our current development direction. Plans will be adjusted based on our capacity and community needs. We are committed to operating with transparency and accountability.

  • Establish and run our YouTube channel (@NZCNSAFE)
  • Produce initial Chinese-language digital safety educational content
  • Set up Chinese social media channels (e.g. WeChat)
Year 2

Year Two: Expand Community Education & Partnerships

  • Expand content library to cover more scam types and safety scenarios
  • Explore content collaboration with Chinese community groups and media
  • Explore community events or online seminars
  • Establish feedback and content update mechanisms to ensure timeliness
Year 3

Year Three: Build Sustainable Operations

  • Strengthen governance structure and volunteer support systems
  • Explore sustainable funding, including compliant donation channels
  • Evaluate service impact and continuously improve content quality and reach
  • Consider expanding to broader forms of community support as capacity allows
Note on Development Plan

The above represents our current development direction — it is not a formal commitment or contract. Actual progress will depend on resources, capacity, and community needs. We will file annual returns with Charities Services New Zealand on time to ensure operational transparency.
