Eligible donors may claim a donation tax credit
Our organisation holds New Zealand charitable tax status. An eligible New Zealand individual who makes a qualifying monetary donation of NZ$5 or more and obtains a valid donation receipt may claim a donation tax credit equal to one-third (33.33%) of the eligible donation. The amount available depends on the donor's taxable income and the other requirements applied by Inland Revenue.
After your donation, we will issue an official donation receipt to the email address you provide. If you do not receive your receipt, please contact admin@nzsafe.org.nz with your name, donation date, amount and payment reference so we can assist.
Please do not send your online banking password, verification codes or full card details.
Donation tax credits are claimed by donors according to Inland Revenue (IRD) requirements. They are not an instant discount or refund at the time of payment. See Inland Revenue's donation tax credit guidance for eligibility and claim details.
